Footstools are covered for 10 years, cubes and pods for 2 years, and scatter cushions and accessories for 1 year.

Our guarantee covers structural faults in the hardwood frame and any manufacturing faults in upholstery craftsmanship, fillings, springs, or suspension that occur through normal domestic use.

Your guarantee won’t cover
- Accidental damage (unless you’ve taken out our Castelan Protection Plan)
- Misuse (stains, burns, pet damage, harsh cleaning products)
- Neglect of routine care (see our Care Guide)
- Natural ageing (leathers and fabrics will change tone and develop character—that’s part of their charm)
- Sunlight damage (direct sunlight can cause fading, which isn’t considered a fault)

Our guarantees are for normal domestic use. If you’re ordering for a commercial environment, please tell us at the time of ordering so we can discuss the right terms for you.

No—but we do offer theCastelan 5-Year Premium Protection Plan, which covers accidental spills, stains, scratches, rips, and pet damage. It’s well worth considering if you want extra peace of mind.

Yes, our guarantees apply to all furniture we supply, but if your item is delivered outside the UK mainland, any return shipping costs for repairs would be your responsibility.
