A leather wingback armchair inspired by traditional library seating. Designed for long, comfortable sits, the Bookworm combines a supportive shape with naturally characterful leather. Handcrafted in England with a full feather seat cushion and hand finished hardwood feet made in Great Britain.

Our two-person delivery and installation service is £49 across most of mainland UK, or £99 for remote and island postcodes. Check your area at checkout.
We confirm your order, handcraft your furniture in Britain, then deliver and install it — placing it in the room of your choice, assembling anything needed and taking the packaging away.
Returns
Not quite right on delivery day? Tell the team before they leave and they'll take it back, free, for a full refund. Changed your mind later? Contact us within 28 days — we'll collect and refund, less a £49 collection fee (£99 for selected postcodes).
Bespoke orders — custom sizes or non-standard materials — can't be cancelled after deposit or returned after delivery.

Our 3,500 sq ft showroom sits in a restored 1938 modernist building in the heart of Matlock, home to our full collection of handmade sofas, chairs and footstools.
Open seven days a week — come and take your time, compare designs and feel the craftsmanship for yourself. Bring the dog. Have a cup of tea while you browse.
